This past month the Sunday morning promptings have had a focus on spiritual gifts.

Following worship, in Fellowship Hall, materials will be made available for anyone who chooses, to do a self-inventory of his/her spiritual gifts.

Persons participating will be invited to offer their spiritual gifts on a very special Pentecost Sunday, May 27, as during the worship we dedicate the many gifts shared among us at First Congregational Church.

A copy of the Spiritual Gifts Inventory is available to download below, along with a response form to be returned to the church.

The Best and Worst Places to Be a Mom ranking, which compares 165 countries around the globe, looks at factors such as a mother’s health, education and economic status, as well as critical child indicators such as health and nutrition. This year, the United States ranks 25th.

Mother’s Day Brunch

This Sunday, May 13 after worship come and celebrate Mother’s day brunch in the Fellowship Hall!

Ministry of Church Life is once again hosting and Chef Steve (Mevert) and crew are preparing a delicious meal for everyone to enjoy.

Reservations are not required and a voluntary donation of $5 is appreciated. All Moms eat free!

Big Red Church Workday

Last year, Big Red won the award for most participants in the parade, and we’d like to repeat! Discussion also about staffing our church’s booth at the Festival. (Interim NCNCUCC Conference Minister Rev. Phil Hart will march in the parade with us this year, and preach the following day in worship.)

KIDmunity Music Summer Camp

Join us at First Congregational Church of Fresno for our KIDmunity Music Summer Camp, a week-long day camp from July 16-22 open to kids grades K-8.

Campers will learn music from around the world; play recorder and percussion; learn basic of guitar; develop their singing voices.

Registrations are now available in the church office. Advance registration is strongly recommended. Enchilda Sale

The Ministry of Church Life is having an Enchilada Sale on Sunday, May 20.

Enchiladas will be packaged for freezing and, for convenience, can go directly from freezer to oven. Don’t delay order your delicious cheese or shredded beef enchiladas.
