Director
Scott Horton serves as both Director of Music and Organist. He is assisted on occasion by choir members who, themselves, are skilled pianists and choral directors.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is open to all with a heart for singing. The ensemble of more that 30 voices provides weekly choral music for worship, September through June. In recent years, the Chancel Choir has provided additional performances of a Schubert Mass in the fall, an annual Christmas program, and a program year-ending performance of collected works.
Handbell Choir
These “ringers” rehearse each Sunday morning, and regularly perform in worship and in special worship events throughout the year.
Morningstar Dancers
This liturgical dance ensemble brings a visual interpretation to scripture and music in special settings of the church year.
Special Music Series
Because of the fine acoustics of our sanctuary, FCCF is host to numerous instrumental and vocal performances throughout the year. Educational and community groups regularly provide a rich tapestry of musical opportunities for our members and the wider Fresno community. (Please see link to: www.pipesonvanness.com ) Our own Ministry of Worship sponsors featured artists in recital throughout the year. |

Concerts are offered by visiting musicians and church musicians
several times a year
Our organ was designed and built by Casavant Brothers
of Canada, and installed in the sanctuary in 1967. It has 2,512 pipes,
53 ranks and 43 speaking stops, and is among the largest and finest between
San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 2004, major renovation and repair work
has been done, and the organ sounds more beautiful than ever. |
